Where It Began
Our story begins with a simple truth: coffee should be a gathering point, not a dividing line.
What began as a small local passion project for Jeremy, (our founder), has grown
into a craft focused roastery and two neighborhood cafés that celebrates community, quality, and the art of great coffee.
Our coffee is small batch roasted in Fredericton, New Brunswick, where you can enjoy slow mornings by the river, and catch familiar faces on familiar streets.
This small-town feeling didn’t just surround us, it shaped us.
Whisky Barrel
Before there was a roastery, a logo, or a name… there was The Whisky Barrel.
Inside that single oak barrel, our very first coffee took shape. Slowly absorbing warmth, depth, and character over nine careful months.
What emerged
was a roast with hints chocolate, caramel, whisky, and oak; a flavor that felt timeless from day one.
It became the foundation of everything we do and a reminder that craft isn’t rushed;
it’s nurtured.
This is the coffee you bring to the cottage, to good friends, and to slow
mornings that matter.
More Than Coffee
But to us, coffee is more than that.
It’s the people you share it with. It’s the conversations at our counter. It’s the students studying, the friends you catch up with, the early risers grabbing their first cup of the day, the night owls grabbing their sixth cup of the night.
